Another fast food option may be coming to Benner Pike.
Land development plans were submitted to College Township’s planning office for a new Taco Bell at 387 Benner Pike, on a portion of the parking lot near the former Office Depot building.
The plans were submitted on Dec. 20 by Erie-based Taco Bell franchisee Charter Foods North.
The restaurant would include a new, 23-foot tall building with 2,600 gross square feet of floor area, along with a drive-through and 26 parking spaces.
Plans are currently under review by township staff and would require approval by the planning commission and College Township Council.
It would be the third Taco Bell in the Centre Region, joining locations at 310 E. College Ave. in State College and 100 Rolling Ridge Drive in the South Hills Plaza in College Township.
