Spirits remained high well into the day on Saturday as the 46 hours of THON continued.
The morning and afternoon were filled with THON traditions, like the annual kids fashion show and time with Penn State student-athletes, including the Nittany Lion football team.
Kids were front and center throughout the day. From a toddler that captivated the entire Jordan Center crowd to children spending time with princesses on the floor, you didn’t have to go far to see reminders of what THON is all about — supporting the Four Diamonds children and their families in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Gov. Tom Wolf and U.S. Sen. Bob Casey also made appearances at THON on Saturday, offering encouragement and support.
The band My Hero Zero, one of a number of live acts performing throughout the weekend, put on an energetic performance that had the Jordan Center rocking.

THON rolls on into Saturday night, with the ever-popular pep rally, featuring performances by Penn State sports teams still ahead. The dancers, meanwhile, are on their feet until 4 p.m. on Sunday when the final fundraising total for the year is revealed.
