Trick-or-Treat Night Postponed Around the Area

With heavy rain and strong winds in the forecast for Thursday afternoon and evening, trick-or-treat night has been postponed in a number of Centre County municipalities.

Trick-or-treat now will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday in State College and Bellefonte boroughs and College, Harris, Ferguson, Patton and Spring townships. Halfmoon Township has postponed trick-or-treat to 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Philipsburg Borough is allowing trick-or-treat 6-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

The ‘Tanks and Treats’ event scheduled at the Pennsylvania Military Museum has been canceled.

Nittany Valley Sports Centre, 177 Champion Drive, is holding an indoor Halloween party, with trick-or-treating, games, concessions and a costume contest from 6-8 p.m.

Barnes & Noble, 365 Benner Pike, will have trick-or-treat and a costume contest from 6-8 p.m.

Penn State’s Palmer Museum of Art is hosting an After Hours Art Halloween Spectacular with an art heist escape room 6-7 p.m., Zombie Adventure Tour 6:30-7 p.m., costume contest judging at 8 p.m. and face mask decoration, photo booth, and refreshments throughout the night from 6-9 p.m.

The Centre County Youth Service Bureau is offering Halloween at the Penns Valley YMCA, 115 W. Streamside Pl., Spring Mills, with arts and crafts, games and treats from 5-7 p.m.
