In the fourth edition of our series profiling the candidates for State College borough council, we talked with David J. Brown, another newcomer in the borough political scene.
Brown and his wife Laura have been borough residents for over 35 years, working in town and raising a family here. Brown retired from his clinical practice as a psychiatrist in 2014 and wants to devote his newfound free time to helping the borough.
We spoke with the borough council candidate about his decision to run, his thoughts on the major issues facing the borough, and plenty more.
View the first profile of this series with retired Marine and Republican candidate Ron Madrid here, the second with long-time resident and Penn State professor Jesse Barlow here, and the third with Centre County native Janet Engeman here.
