It all started with a simple group message, then a Facebook group, and that quickly grew into a passionate group of people gathered together in front of Old Main to pay their respects and ask for peace.
Thousands of RSVP’s later and Old Main was lit up with the colors of the French flag, and a collection of somber students gathered lighting candles.
Despite an ocean in between Paris and Penn State, students were able to talk about their rage, sadness, and empathy for France.
Most importantly, this was a gathering of all students. Students from every race and creed came together to support the cause. To support world peace.
