Movies
Kick off the holiday season by seeing “Frozen” this weekend. The movie is playing at the UEC 12 Theatre and the College 9 Theatre.
Bars and Clubs
At Otto’s Pub and Brewery, there will be $2 Off growler fills from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and $2 off cocktails from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m.
At Chrome, Happy Hour will run from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. with $3 Smirnoff Flavors and $4 mixed drinks.
At The Lion’s Den, mixed drinks and shots will all be half-price.
Saturday, Nov. 30
Bring your kids to see some of the most classic Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig cartoons at the State Theatre Saturday at the Bill Welch Cartoon Series, named after the late Mayor Bill Welch who famously loved this series at the theatre. The event starts at 10 a.m.
Sunday, Dec. 1
Head out to Barnes and Noble for a special reading of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Kids will be able to also enjoy Grinch-themed activities and treats. The reading starts at 1 p.m.
