Movies
To celebrate Halloween, go see the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s classic tale of horror with “Carrie.” The movie is playing at College 9 Theatre and UEC 12 Theatre.
Bars
At Bar Bleu, Happy Hour runs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Lowjack plays at 10:30 p.m.
At GMan, DJ Boner will be playing from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Bud Light pitchers are $5
The Autport will have Gene Gibson performing from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Saturday, Oct. 26
The Shaver’s Creek Fall Festival will be held Saturday, as well as Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The main event though is the Children’s Halloween Trail, which isn’t your typical scary trail. The trail starts in the daylight and is meant to bring children in, not scare them away.
Sunday, Oct. 27
The Penn State Forensic Science Club will be hosting their annual haunted house from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. The haunted house will be at Spruce and Pine Cottages on campus near the HUB. This year’s theme is a haunted prison and the event costs $4.99 per person.
