Penn State Men’s Basketball Announces Full Nonconference Schedule

More pieces of Penn State men’s basketball’s schedule have fallen into place.

The Nittany Lions on Thursday morning announced their complete 12-game nonconference schedule for the 2026-27 season, including eight at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The season will begin with clashes against Canisius and Chattanooga, followed by a trip to The Palestra in Philadelphia to face in-state rival Pitt. Penn State will then return home to host Mercyhurst, New Haven and IU Indy.

The Nittany Lions will trek to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis, facing two of Memphis, Mississippi State and Wake Forest, before returning to home court. Back in State College, they’ll welcome Albany, UT Martin and Lafayette before facing Saint Joseph’s at the GIANT Center in Hershey.

Monday, Nov. 2 vs. Canisius
Thursday, Nov. 5 vs. Chattanooga
Sunday, Nov. 8 vs. Pittsburgh (The Palestra, Philadelphia, Pa.)
Thursday, Nov. 12 vs. Mercyhurst
Sunday, Nov. 15 vs. New Haven
Wednesday, Nov. 18 vs. IU Indy
Nov. 25-27 Battle 4 Atlantis (Imperial Arena, Paradise Island, Bahamas)
Tuesday, Dec. 1 vs. Albany
Wednesday, Dec. 16 vs. UT Martin
Saturday, Dec. 19 vs. Lafayette
Tuesday, Dec. 22 vs. Saint Joseph’s (GIANT Center, Hershey, Pa.)

Tipoff times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date. Additionally, Penn State’s conference opponents have been revealed, but dates have not yet been announced. Those matchups are as follows:

Home: Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, Washington
Away: Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, UCLA, USC, Wisconsin
Home and away: Nebraska, Ohio State, Rutgers
