Penn State men’s basketball has lost a longest-held commitment.
Three-star forward Jamison White announced his decommitment from the Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon, leaving their 2026 class with no signees. Though White was Penn State’s only high school recruit and only ranked prospect, Croatian forward Roko Prkačin and French forward François Wibaut have committed but haven’t yet signed with the program.
White, ranked as the No. 2 recruit from illinois and No. 41 power forward per the 247Sports composite rankings, had been pledged to Penn State since September 2025 and signed with the program on Early National Signing Day in November but has since had a change of heart. Listed at 6-foot-7 and 215 pounds, White hails from East St. Louis, Illinois, and was expected to compete for a starting role next season with a lack of returners on the team.
Following the move, the Nittany Lions’ 2026 outlook at forward consists of senior Saša Ciani, sophomores Ivan Jurić, Tibor Mirtič and Chris Lotito, commits Prkačin and Wibaut and transfer Brant Byers. Jurić and Byers are expected to land starting roles, with the third front-court spot up for grabs.
