Penn State’s wide receiver depth is up in the air heading into a clash against Purdue.
The Nittany Lions’ top two pass catchers in Koby Howard and Chase Sowell were both listed as questionable on the team’s initial availability report released Wednesday night. Howard has missed the last four games after a hot start to the season, while Sowell was banged up before and during the last game at Michigan but played through it and had a career day.
New additions are safety Jeremiah Cooper (probable), defensive end Alex McPherson (questionable), tight end Brian Kortovich (questionable), safety Omarion Davis (out) and defensive tackle Alijah Carnell (doubtful), while defensive ends Dayshaun Burnett and LaVar Arrington II, cornerback Josiah Zayas and linebacker Cam Smith have been removed from the report and are available after missing time.
Here’s a full look at who’s in and who’s out for both squads heading into Saturday’s afternoon clash in Beaver Stadium.
