Penn State will be making its first appearance on CBS this season.
The Nittany Lions’ game against Michigan on Saturday will be broadcast during the network’s 3:30 p.m. slot as the “B1G Time” game of the week, with Brad Nessler and Charles Davis in the booth and Jenny Dell as the sideline reporter.
It’ll mark the team’s second 3:30 kickoff of the season after the season-opener against Marshall, which was aired on Big Ten Network. Penn State appeared during CBS’ afternoon window three times last season, including games against Nevada, UCLA and Michigan State.
Penn State enters the contest at 3-3 following a three-game losing skid to open Big Ten play, while the Wolverines are sitting at 3-2 overall off a bye week and are also winless in conference play. Despite both teams’ early struggles, they’re still considered major brands and are likely to draw eyeballs regardless of record.
