Another Nittany Lion is on the move.
Former Penn State defensive end and current NFL linebacker Arnold Ebiketie has signed a one-year, $7.3 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to multiple reports Thursday night.
Ebiketie spent the previous four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, amassing 129 tackles, 16.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. The Falcons selected him in the second round of the 2022 draft but opted not to re-sign him after his rookie contract expired.
Ebiketie spent three seasons at Temple before transferring to Penn State in 2021, where he posted a breakout year with 62 tackles, 9.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, working his way up the draft boards. With the Owls, Ebiketie registered 59 tackles, six sacks and three forced fumbles, and he’ll now play at the same home stadium — Lincoln Financial Field.
He’ll join up with former Nittany Lion running back Saquon Barkley and cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields, who started alongside him on Penn State’s defense in 2021.
