Penn State football will cap off the 2024 edition of spring practice with its annual Blue-White Game on April 13, the program announced on Thursday. No other details were announced in conjunction with the date but historically the Blue-White Game — which has transitioned back to a scrimmage in recent years — is played mid afternoon and has generally been carried on the Big Ten Network.
It will be a pivotal season for the Nittany Lions, who will look to make good on a talented roster in a newly expanded Big Ten conference with the addition of four teams in 2024 as well an expanded College Football Playoff field. Penn State is currently ranked No. 10 in the second-to-last College Football Playoff rankings in the current four-team format after finishing the regular season at 10-2 following a dominating win over Michigan State last week.
More details about the Blue-White Game will be released at a later date. Penn State will be welcoming new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki to Beaver Stadium that day, although the program has not yet officially announced the hire.
