Penn State offered no clarity on the status of cornerback Daryus Dixson ahead of Friday’s contest against Northwestern.
After listing Dixson as questionable throughout the week, the Nittany Lions categorized him as a game-time decision during the final availability report before kickoff at 8 p.m. EDT. He’s the only game-time decision, while many others are out.
Among those not participating against the Wildcats during the debut of New Ryan Field are wide receiver Koby Howard, defensive ends Max Granville, LaVar Arrington II, Dayshaun Burnett and Mason Robinson, linebacker Cam Smith, cornerbacks Joshua Johnson, Christian Askew and Tyler Armstead, offensive lineman Will Tompkins, tight end Cooper Alexander and kicker Cristiano Rosa.
Defensive backs Braden Turner and Seth Valeri and Josh Fussell, linebackers Jason Reynolds, Qayvier Johnson and Max Mohring, defensive linemen Callen Campbell, Migo Jackson and Glory Stephen-Wangjobe, offensive linemen David Anchondo, Jacob Miller and Ezomo Oratokhai, tight ends Luke Dehnicke, Tom McGlinchey and Chris Petrucci and wide receiver Jaden McDuffie.
Dehnicke is a key offensive player for the Wildcats and was downgraded from questionable to doubtful to out throughout the week.
