Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu and defensive end Chop Robinson earned All-American honors from the Associated Press and Football Writers Association of America on Monday.

Fashanu was selected as a first-team All-American by the AP and a second-team by the FWAA while Robinson was a third-team selection by the AP.

It marks the second and third All-America honors this year for Fashanu, who was named a first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Friday. As for Robinson, this was the first All-American honor of his career.

Fashanu is Penn State’s 102nd first-team All-American in school history and its first first-team selection since linebacker Micah Parsons in 2019. He is also Penn State’s first offensive lineman to earn multiple first-team All-American nods from NCAA-recognized outlets since A.Q. Shipley in 2008.

Robinson joins Arnold Ebiketie (second team, 2021) and Carl Nassib (first team, 2015) as Nittany Lion defensive ends to collect All-American accolades under Penn State coach James Franklin.
