Penn State’s health struggles will continue into its matchup against Iowa on Saturday night.
Per the Nittany Lions’ pregame availability report, starting left guard Vega Ioane is out for the first time this season. As previously announced, quarterback Drew Allar is also out for the first time after leaving last week’s game with a broken left ankle that ended his college career.
Penn State is also without linebacker Tony Rojas, wide receivers Kaden Saunders, Peter Gonzalez and Josiah Brown, quarterback Bekkem Kritza, defensive end Max Granville, linebacker Kari Jackson, defensive end Mason Robinson, defensive tackle Kaleb Artis, offensive linemen Brady O’Hara and Liam Horan, cornerback Donte Nastasi and defensive end Jordon Mayer and safety Lamont Payne Jr., who didn’t play last week either.
There are no players listed as questionable for the Nittany Lions.
For Iowa, wide receiver Jarriett Buie, running back Jaziun Patterson, defensive back Shahid Barros, defensive lineman Luke Gaffney and tight end Addison Ostrenga are out for the game, while linebacker Jaden Harrell is questionable.
