This is part of a series profiling Penn State players eligible for the 2026 NFL Draft, April 23-26.

Though he began the 2025 season as a co-starter at slot receiver with Devonte Ross, Clifford saw his snap count diminish throughout the year, finishing with just three receptions for 25 yards and two carries for four yards.

Through five seasons at Penn State, the former three-star recruit hauled in 42 receptions for 530 yards and one touchdown, while also getting snaps on special teams.

In order to follow in his brother Sean’s footsteps and make it to the league, Clifford will have to impress during team meetings and local days.

“Just continue to be smooth in my routes, continue to get faster, continue to work my hands, just all the little things, finding extra ways to get catches and run as many routes as I can, continue to just hone in on some of the things I want to work on,” Clifford said.

Pro Day results:

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 200 pounds

Bench press: 19 reps

Vertical jump: 33 inches

Broad jump: 9-foot-3

40-yard dash: 4.57 seconds

Pro shuttle: 4.38 seconds

Three-cone drill: 7.29 seconds

Projection: Undrafted
