A former Penn State defensive end just got paid.

On Monday, Odafe Oweh signed a four-year, $100 million deal with the Washington Commanders, according to multiple reports, his third team since entering the league.

Oweh began his professional career with the Baltimore Ravens, who drafted him No. 31 overall in 2021, appearing in 67 games across four and a half seasons. Midway through the 2025 campaign, he was traded to the Los Angeles Chargers, where he caught fire for the final 12 games of the year. Since entering the NFL, Oweh has totaled 176 tackles, 30.5 sacks and seven forced fumbles, peaking with 10 sacks in 2024.

Prior to hearing his name called in the draft, Oweh spent three seasons as a Nittany Lion, totaling 63 tackles, seven sacks and two forced fumbles. He notably recorded no sacks in his third and final season in Happy Valley, but his athletic traits and impressive combine performance were enough to justify a first-round pick.
