The Penn State women’s hockey program will be well represented at the Olympics.
Four Nittany Lions are set to kick off the preliminary rounds in Milano Cortina on Thursday morning, including senior forward Tessa Janecke (United States), sophomore forward Nicole Hall (Sweden), freshman forward Matilde Fantin (Italy) and former defenseman Jess Adolfsson (Sweden). Janecke, Hall and Fantin have been away from the team recently, but Penn State boasts a 26-4 overall record, including a 19-1 mark in AHA play, and is ranked No. 4 nationally with the postseason looming.
