Penn State Transportation Services has announced parking details for athletic events scheduled during Winter Sports Weekend, running Friday through Sunday, Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, across multiple campus venues.

Featuring the first hockey games to be played at Beaver Stadium, the weekend also includes the Nittany Lion basketball, wrestling, volleyball, gymnastics, lacrosse, tennis, swimming and track and field teams competing at home. Parking locations, rates and permit requirements will vary by event and day.

ON CAMPUS

Friday, Jan. 30 Parking

• For the Penn State Track and Field National Open at the Multi-Sport Facility, parking will be available all day in commuter lots (Stadium West, Jordan East and Porter North) and the Eisenhower Deck. Prepaid parking costs $5.60 through ParkWhiz, while day-of parking is $10 via the HONK app.

• Women’s hockey against Robert Morris at Beaver Stadium will use the same commuter lots, with identical rates. Mobile passes for that event will be valid until 5 p.m. day-of.

• Fans attending men’s volleyball against Hawaii at Rec Hall may park in the Nittany and West decks. Prepaid parking is $5.60, and day-of parking is $10 at deck pay stations.

• For men’s hockey against Michigan State at Pegula Ice Arena and the wrestling meet against Nebraska at the Bryce Jordan Center, prepaid parking is available in the commuter lots and Eisenhower Deck for $5.60.

Day-of parking for those events will be limited to the East Deck at $10. Access to commuter lots and the Eisenhower Deck will require a valid Penn State permit or a prepaid ParkWhiz pass.

Track and field competition continues Saturday, with prepaid parking available at the Eisenhower Deck for $5.60. Day-of parking rates will be $40 at the Eisenhower, East and HUB decks, $30 at the Nittany Deck and $20 at the West Deck.

• The same parking options and rates apply for swimming and diving against George Washington and men’s tennis against St. Joseph’s, both scheduled for 10 a.m.

Men’s hockey against Michigan State at Beaver Stadium will have parking managed by Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics in lots near the stadium. Additional on-campus parking will be available at deck rates ranging from $20 to $40.

Several commuter and reserved campus lots will close at midnight Friday in preparation for the game.

CATA will provide shuttle service from Hills Plaza, and Fullington Trailways will operate shuttles from multiple regional locations.

Men’s volleyball returns to Rec Hall at 5 p.m., with parking available in the Nittany and West decks.

Women’s hockey against Robert Morris at Pegula Ice Arena at 6 p.m. will offer free parking in commuter lots and the Eisenhower Deck.
