Penn State wrestling on Tuesday released its complete 2024-25 schedule, a lineup that will include two dual meets at the Bryce Jordan Center.
The Nittany Lions’ matchups at the BJC will include Iowa on Friday, Jan. 31 and Michigan a week later on Friday, Feb. 7. (Start times for Big Ten duals will be announced at a later date.)
In total, the defending national champions will host seven home duals this season, as well as the the NWCA All-Star Classic at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The season-opening exhibition, which is not an NCAA event, is not part of the Penn State season ticket package. Tickets be purchased through Ticketmaster.
Penn State’s regular season will open the following day with a home dual against Drexel in Rec Hall at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.
After a trip to Army’s Black Knight Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 24, the Nittany Lions will visit Lehigh for a 2 p.m. dual on Sunday, Dec. 8 then host Wyoming at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Closing out the calendar year, Penn State will travel to Nashville on Sunday Dec. 22, for the Journeymen Collegiate Duals, where it will wrestle dual meets against Binghamton, Arkansas-Little Rock and Missouri.
To open 2025, the Nittany Lions will kickoff the Big Ten slate against Michigan State in Rec Hall on Friday, Jan. 10, followed by consecutive road duals at Nebraska on Friday, Jan. 17 and Rutgers on Friday, Jan. 24.
After the two BJC duals, Penn State will host Maryland back in Rec Hall on Sunday, Feb. 9.
The Nittany Lions will visit Ohio State on Friday, Feb. 14, and Illinois on Sunday, Feb. 16 for the final weekend of conference action, followed by a Senior Day dual against American at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at Rec Hall.
The Big Ten Championships are scheduled for March 8-9 at Northwestern, and the NCAA Championships will take place March 20-22 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Penn State returns eight All-Americans, including three national champs, as it seeks its fourth consecutive NCAA team title and 12th under coach Cael Sanderson.
