Cow & Cookie Bakery Now Open in Penn State’s HUB-Robeson Center

There’s no need to walk all the way to Berkey Creamery for your midday sweet treat on the Penn State campus anymore.

The Penn State Bakery and Berkey Creamery opened a boutique retail bakery, Cow & Cookie, in the HUB-Robeson Center Monday, in the former location of Barney’s convenience store. Cow & Cookie once operated as a stand in the HUB, offering soft-serve ice cream, Quakes, and other Penn State Bakery products.

Now, Cow & Cookie’s retail shop offers Berkey Creamery ice cream, chocolate milk, Quakes, pre-packaged Starbucks coffee products, sliced cake, ice cream sandwiches and other Penn State Bakery items. Customers can purchase whole cakes, too.

The store is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cow & Cookie is cashless, and accepts debit or credit cards, Apple and Google Pay, LionCash and dining dollars. Customers also will be able order ahead using Penn State Eats, according to Penn State LiveOn Dining.
