Penn State football dropped three spots to No. 16 in the latest AP Poll following a loss to No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions will next travel to face Indiana for a 3:30 kick in Bloomington next weekend.
It was a fairly straightforward day in the conference and across the nation as Michigan took care of business against Michigan State while Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa all left their respective games with victories while Illinois rose to No. 14. Elsewhere in the nation No. 3 Tennessee blew past former Penn State quarterback Will Levis and Kentucky while future Big Ten member USC won over Arizona while No. 1 Georgia powered past Florida.
Penn State has no remaining games against current Top 25 teams. The Nittany Lions will return home from a weekend trip to Indiana and will host Maryland before making a trip to Rutgers. Penn State will close out its regular season with a post-Thanksgiving contest against Michigan State. Penn State currently sits at 6-2 on the year following losses to No. 4 Michigan and No. 2 Ohio State in two of the past three weeks.
