The NFL Draft is set to get underway on Thursday evening with the first round airing live from Las Vegas starting at 8 p.m. eastern time. The first round is a notoriously long affair, with teams taking their time making selections, trades and hearing offers from the around the league.
From the Penn State perspective only receiver Jahan Dotson and defensive end Arnold Ebiketie have the most reasonable chance at being called in the first round and both players would likely do so later in the evening.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have the first pick in the draft while the Lions, Texans, Jets and Giants round out the rest of the top five. If you’re interesting in following along, especially as the middle rounds begin and Penn State players will start to come off the board, here is everything you need to know.
When does it start?
Tonight’s first round (April 28) begins at 8 p.m EDT and could last upwards of four hours. Friday night (April 29), the second round kicks off at 7 p.m. EDT while Saturday (April 30), round four gets underway at noon EDT.
What channel is it on?
The draft will be televised on ESPN, NFL Network, ABC, and ESPN Deportes. It can also be streamed on the ESPN app or ESPN.com, the NFL app or NFL.com.
