Work related to two housing construction projects will result in two temporary street closures this week in State College, according to releases from the borough.
• On Wednesday, Jan. 7, Landmark Urban Construction PA, LLC will be occupying Sowers Street between East College Avenue and East Calder Way for overhead power line work for The Mark State College.
Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and will cause the entire street to be closed.
• From Wednesday, Jan. 7, through Friday, Jan. 9, Ameron Construction Co. Inc. will be excavating Waupelani Drive between Oneida Street and O’Bryan Lane to put in a construction entrance off of Waupelani Drive. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and will cause the entire street and sidewalk to be closed.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when traveling near work areas.
