Annette Yorks Group with Perry Wellington Realty hosts annual shred event to Benefit Harris Township Lions Club’s Local Sight Fund

BOALSBURG — Perry Wellington Realty will be hosting a Shred Event to help support the Harris Township Lions Club’s local Sight Fund on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be at 110 W. Main St. in Boalsburg.

The Shred Event not only provides a secure way for community members to dispose of their confidential documents, but also offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local initiatives. Harris Township Lions Club, dedicated to supporting vision-related projects, will utilize the funds raised during the event to benefit their Sight Fund, ensuring that individuals in need receive crucial assistance for eye care and vision-related services.

The event is in partnership with North Central Sight Services Inc., which is providing shredding services at the event. North Central Sight Services Inc. proudly employs individuals who are blind or legally blind, exemplifying the event’s commitment to inclusivity and community support.

“Real Deal” Bob Steele, renowned host of WOWY Radio, will be present at the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for added entertainment. Attendees can look forward to exciting giveaways and the chance to interact with the local radio personality.
