Election 2021: State College Area School Board
Six candidates are vying for seats on the State College Area Board of School Directors in the Nov. 2 general election.
Four positions, each with a four-year term, are up for election this year. The board will have at least three new members, with just one incumbent, David Hutchinson, on the ballot.
StateCollege.com editor Geoff Rushton interviewed the candidates for C-NET. Videos of each of the interviews and brief candidate information appear below in the order they are listed on the ballot.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2. Polls will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents have until 8 p.m. on Tuesday to return mail ballots to the Centre County Elections Office, 420 Holmes Street, Bellefonte, or one of eight secure drop-box locations.

Peter Buck
Party: Democratic/Republican
Buck is an academic programs manager in Penn State’s Sustainability Institute and former Ferguson Township supervisor.
