The Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic (LGAR), hosted by the Isaac Rice Circle, Department of Pennsylvania, will be holding its National Convention on August 7 – 9, 2026 at the Kinton’s Knob meeting room at the Bedford County Historical Society, Bedford, PA. This conference is attended by members across the state and country. The LGAR is a Congressionally Chartered non-profit organization and is the oldest women’s hereditary organization in the United States. The original objectives of the organization include promotion of patriotism and education, and participation in community service, especially for the aid of our Veterans and their dependents.
