“Motherhood Out Loud” in the Speakeasy: A performance for charity

Sock & Buskin Theatre Company and the Gamble Mill are partnering together for their fourth annual charity performance to bring you an exclusive staged reading of Motherhood Out Loud in the comfort of the Speakeasy! This piece, written by a collection of celebrated American writers, results in a joyous, moving, hilarious, and altogether thrilling theatrical play. Utterly unpredictable, Motherhood Out Loud shatters traditional notions about parenthood, unveils its inherent comedy and celebrates the deeply personal truths that span and unite generations.

Join us on May 20 or 21 at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:45 p.m.) and purchase cocktails from The Republic before the performance. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Mommy Shoppe, a small nonprofit store that helps local families out by offering free children’s clothing, and many other items at yard sale prices.
