UUFCC Music Series: “Old, Borrowed, New”

We are pleased to present bassist Aaron White in a recital on Monday, October 6, in collaboration with the Penn State School of Music. Aaron White performs with the Pittsburgh Symphony and is on the music faculty at Duquesne University, where he teaches double bass and is the string area coordinator. He earned music degrees from Southern Methodist University and Duquesne University and has given masterclasses and recitals at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Southern Methodist University, among others. He will present a masterclass in the School of Music here on October 6.
His program will include solos by J.S. Bach and Virgilio Mortari. Pianist Ann Deighton will join him for works by Bottesini, Hindemith, and Kodaly. Suggested donation is $15; students are admitted free. We hope you can attend this special program!
