This story will be updated as more information becomes available.

At least on person is dead after a series of crashes on Thursday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Centre County.

All lanes of I-80 eastbound between Exit 147 at Snow Shoe and Exit 173 at Lamar reopened at about 7:30 p.m. after being closed for more than three hours.

Three crashes occurred beginning at about 4:20 p.m.

A tractor trailer rollover with a fuel leak occurred at mile marker 167 near Lamar, PennDOT District 2 spokesman Timothy Nebgen said. No injuries were reported from that crash.

That was followed by a collision involving two tractor trailers, one of which overturned, at mile marker 166.5. Nebgen said there was no information yet about any injuries from that crash.

At least one person died when a minivan crashed into the back of a tractor trailer at mile marker 158. Nebgen said he did not yet have information on whether anyone else was injured or died in that crash.

During the closure, eastbound traffic was detoured onto Route 144 then followed Route 150 to Route 64 and reconnected with I-80 at Lamar.
