Under a perfect sky, the annual Penn State Homecoming Parade entertains a throng of students, residents and alumni.

Before college, Katherine Larimer cut high school to attend Penn State’s 2005 win over Ohio State. The true indication that she grew up a Penn Stater: Her parents gave her permission to miss school and her dad even accompanied her to the game.
