Amy M. Kelly, 61, of Philipsburg died Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Amy was born on November 11, 1964, in Erie, Pa., a daughter of William M. Yanek, of Reynoldsville; and the late Yvonne L. (Gamble) Yanek.

She was a graduate of the DuBois Area High School. Following high school, she attended the Pennsylvania State University, DuBois Campus.

Amy was employed in food service as a server throughout her working career up until her illness required her to take a leave of absence. She had been employed with the State College Red Lobster for the past 30 years and with the Penn State Conference Center for the past 20 years.  

Amy was married on August 1, 1999, in Reynoldsville, to William W. “Will” Kelly, who survives at home.

She is also survived by her father, William M. Yanek, of Reynoldsville; a sister, Melissa Desbien and her husband, Evan, of Topeka, Kansas; two brothers, William M. Yanek and his wife, Jacey, of Lawrence, Kansas and J.D. Yanek and his wife, Julia, of Marshalls Creek, Pa.; and numerous other extended family members.    

Amy was of the Catholic faith. 

Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her dogs, Ricky and Benny.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11 am, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 400 S. 4th. Street, Philipsburg, with Rev. Matthias Rendon, O.F.M. and Rev. George Jackopac, concelebrants.

The visitation will be on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 2 until 5 pm; and on Monday from 10 until 10:30 am at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.

Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
