Andrew S. “Jessie” Panik, 84, of Clarence, entered the gates of his Heavenly Home on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Born on February 3, 1938, in Clarence, he was the son of the late Andrew P. and Anna Planko Panik.

Jessie was a 1956 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. He was a life member of the Queen of Archangels Parish Church in Clarence, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus

Jessie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved people and socializing. His greatest joy was attending Mass every day and saying the Rosary. He also enjoyed singing and poetry. He could make up a poem and remember it without writing it down. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

Jessie is survived by two brothers: William Panik and his wife, Marge, of Elyria, OH and Howard Panik and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Carson City, NV and two sisters: Genevieve Kuzarra and her husband, Frank, of McKinney, TX, and Sister Agnes Panik, I.H.M. of Clarence, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Jessie was preceded in death by nine siblings: Margaret Panik, Mary Kobularcik, Ann Goy, Steve Panik, Martin Panik, Verna Peslak, Catherine Panik, Margaret Johnson, and Dolores Soster.

Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 11am at the Queen of Archangels Parish Church in Clarence with Father Michael Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow Mass at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Clarence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sisters of I.H.M., 2300 Adams Ave. Scranton, PA 18509.
