Bernice H. Smith Fetters, 95, formerly of Bellefonte, passed at Wynwood House, State College on July 23, 2022. Bernice was born on January 15, 1927, in Snyder Twp., Blair Co. She was the daughter of the late Clair M and Ada Brower Smith. On May 8, 1991 she married Gerald E. Fetters, who preceded her in death on April 25, 2016. She is survived by her brother, Ernest Wendall Smith of Connecticut, she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Louise Upole, Marion Saxton and Clair F. Smith.
She was a member of Eagle Heights Bible Church, her church was her life.
She was employed at Penn State University in the Chemistry Dept as a secretary, from 1947- 1986, retiring in 1986.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 1:00 P. M. – 2:00 P. M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg.
