Diane Elizabeth Kennedy (nee McMahon), 82, of State College, PA, passed away on April 25, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 30, 1943 in Queens, NY to Peter and Margaret McMahon, she grew up in Woodside, NY and gradauted from the St. Agnes Academic High School at College Point, NY in June 1961.
On April 6, 1963, Diane married William Robert Kennedy, who preceded her in death on Feburary 13, 2002. They had two sons, William Patrick and John James. Diane was a stay-at-home mother raising her two sons and later worked as a customer service agent for Verizon and 1-800-Flowers until her retirement.
Diane is survived by her two sons, William (Korie) and John, and was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings, Peggy, John, Eileen, and Pete.
In keeping with her wishes, there are no plans for a memorial service.
