Dorothy Ann Taormina, 90, of Mill Hall, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at her home. Dorothy was born in, Shamokin, PA. to Peter Tsakeres and Anna Alastick on August 24,1935. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1953.

On August 24, 1957, she married Phillip A. Taormina, Jr. who preceded in her death on February 21st,2024.

She worked as a clerk at the Central Counties Mellon Bank, the Smart Shop, and at the United Telephone Company for 12 years. She enjoyed flower arranging, reading, dancing, and listening to music. She was involved in Dogwood Circle Flower Club, Clinton County Herb Guild, Local Book Club, Alpine Club, assisted in helping in Balloons by Mr. T for 39 years, was a judge for the Clinton County Fair in the Floral Department, a member of SPAM(Society for the Preservation of American Melodramas) and was a performer in the Off B.E.N. Avenue Follies.

Dorothy is survived by 4 children, Angela Johnson(Randy) of Bethel Park, PA, Philip Taormina(Lisa Bletz) of Lamar, PA, Karen Bingaman(Duane) of Kamas, UT, and Roseanne Pillion(Marty) of Mechanicsburg, PA; a sister, Connie Klingerman(Earl) of Berwick, PA; 4 grandchildren, Derek Pillion, Adam Taormina, Hunter Bingaman, and Logan Bingaman. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Robbins, and a grandson Christopher Pillion.

A Funeral Service for Dorothy A. Taormina will be held on Wednesday April 22nd, 2026, 11a.m. in the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC 320 Main St. Mill Hall, Pa 17751 with Pastor Cindy Killinger officiating.

Family and friends will be received in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Memorial donations may be made to Mill Hall Community Park and Swimming Pool, 215 Beech Creek Avenue, Mill Hall, PA 17751.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the services and personnel of the Family Hospice, part of UPMC Home Healthcare of Central Pennsylvania.
