Dorothy “Dody” Elizabeth Replogle, 52, of Bellefonte, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. Born on November 28, 1973, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Bricks and Jane (Shriber) Bricks, who survives.
Dody was a 1993 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School, where she was a majorette. She worked as a personal assistant for many years. Through her work, she formed many close and lasting relationships with people she cared for, many of whom became more like friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Kamberlynn Roche (Patrick) of Mill Hall, and daughter and best friend, Kailee Replogle (Blake) of Bellefonte, and two grandchildren, Kaspin Poling and Mea Roche. Also surviving is the father of her children, Jeff Replogle, and sisters, Mary Peck (Roger) and Carol Catherman (Ralph), and her nieces and nephews: Tyler and Cody Catherman, Tara Peck and her children, Tylor and Taylor, and Amanda Peck and her children, Isaiah and Gabriella.
Dody loved the outdoors and was a thrill seeker. Some of her favorite things to do were going kayaking, rock climbing, camping, and going caving. She enjoyed soaking up the warm weather and traveling to the ocean. When she was home, she found great joy in caring for and improving her old Victorian home and keeping its historic features. Dody also looked forward to outings with her close group of friends, affectionately referred to as “The Tribe.” She also adored her two dogs, Leo and Laney, who were a very special part of her life and brought her so much love and joy. More than anything, she treasured the time that she spent with her daughters and grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 6, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Deacon Thomas Boldin officiating. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In honor of Dody, the family asks those attending her services to wear pink or even a hint of sparkle. She would want her viewing to be filled with color, love and a bit of sparkle!
