Hannah Elizabeth Poorman, 83, of Rebersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by family on February 2, 2026. Born on January 27, 1943, she was the daughter of John and Catherine Etters. She graduated Class of 1960 from Bellefonte High School. On September 10, 1960, she married the love of her life Yarnell Decker Poorman Jr. with whom she shared three children. 

Hannah lived a life centered around love, family and dedication to those around her. She took great pride in carrying out all her roles as Mom, Grammy, Gram-Gram, G-gram, Sis and Aunt.

Hannah was welcomed into heaven by her loving husband, Yarnell Decker Poorman Jr.; her two sons, Michael Jon and Eric Jon Poorman. Also preceding in death are her two sisters Gladys and Margaret, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Lori Jean Moncrief (Scott) of Waterville; her number one daughter-in-law Claudia Poorman (Kevin) of Rebersburg; two brothers John Etters of Bellefonte and Walt Etters; her always cherished grandchildren, Heather Poorman (Dustin) of Potters Mills, Heath Stover (Tara) of Rebersburg, Matt Stover of Millheim, Micki Henry (Travis) of Lock Haven, Tiffany Stover (Zach) of Mocksville, Cortney Ronk (Dale) of Spring Mills, Taylor Poorman of Milesburg, Ryan Moncrief of Sunbury, and Alisha Reiber (Nick) of Harrisburg, along with numerous beloved great grand-children, Landon, Trinity, Mason, Keaton, Krystaleigh, Kalianna, Kai, Hadley, Jackson, Clark, Adalind, August, Rex and Gus.

Hannah dedicated many years of service working at Health South, in Pleasant Gap where she built many lasting friendships. Outside of her career, she found joy in sewing, cooking, baking, sharing recipes, working puzzles, shopping trips, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her caring heart, strong devotion to her loved ones, and the warmth she brought to every gathering.

Hannah’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life for family and friends with burial will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Howard.
