Jacqueline Marie Duttry, 88, of DuBois, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 27, 2023. Born on January 15, 1935, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Allenbaugh) Poorman.
Jacqueline was a graduate of Clearfield High School. As a loving and devoted mother she dedicated her life to raising her family in a loving home.
She is survived by her three children, Cathy (Doug) Tubbs of State College, Daniel Duttry of DuBois, and David Duttry of DuBois, six grandchildren, Herschel Tubbs, Amanda Tubbs, Jacqueline (James) Vodarick, Kyle Cribbs, Daniel Duttry, and Rachel Duttry, three great grandchildren, Connor, Austin, and Bryce Vodarick. Robin Duttry, mother of Daniel and Rachel Duttry.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Melanie Myers, and her siblings, Dorothy Adams, Jean Hugar, Phyllis Fanara, and James Poorman, Jr.
She was known as Aunt Pat to her many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Jacqueline enjoyed traveling to the beach throughout the years. She had a great sense of style and always carried herself with grace. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She especially loved her role as Boo, Ma, Nana and Grandma as her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her, and she treasured the memories that they were able to make together. She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman who will be missed every day. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 2:00 – 2:30 PM, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:30 PM, at the funeral home with Pastor Stacy Sublett officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
