Janice E. Johnson, 95, of State College, died Friday, July 4, 2025, at Juniper Village at Brookline.
Born June 24, 1930, in Glenside, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sigurd and Edith Jacobson. On June 7, 1952, she married Daniel “Carl” Johnson, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1998.
She is survived by two children, Keith D. Johnson and his wife Teresa of San Antonio, TX, and Karen E. Ciletti and her husband Mark of State College; six grandchildren, Emily Kelly, Elizabeth Matis, Katie Goodwill, Daniel Ciletti, Elyssa Johnson, and Aubrey Van Hemelryk; and seven great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Adam, Lilliana, Matthew, Charlotte, Francine, and Anna.
Janice graduated from Roxborough High School in 1948 and attended Philadelphia Business School. She worked as a registrar for Krislund Camp and Conference Center.
She was a member of State College Presbyterian Church. She was an ordained Deaconess there and a Circle Leader.
Memorial service will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Center County Memorial Park.
