Jean Yvonne Stover, 95, formally of Woodward, died June 18, 2021, at Wynwood House in Centre Hall.  She was born in Millheim on January 14, 1926, a daughter of the late Russell and Hazel (Ripka) Cable. She married Paul F. “Dump” Stover on March 31, 1946, who preceded her in death.

Jean graduated from East Penns Valley High School in 1943, where she served as a class officer. She also served as a filing clerk in Harrisburg during WWII. After the war, she worked at the Millheim Hosiery Co. and retired from Penn State University. She was also a graduate of REHMA Bible Training Center and was co-founder of Faith Alive Fellowship in Spring Mills along side her husband, Pastor Paul Stover.  She enjoyed playing the piano as well as traveling with her family. She and Pastor Paul served Faith Alive Fellowship faithfully for many years in various capacities. 

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Bressler and husband Barry of Winter Springs, FL, and Sherie Homan and husband Ralph of Centre Hall; two sons, Ronald Stover of Bel Alton, MD and P. Fred Stover and wife Eileen of Woodward;  grandchildren, Sam Stover and wife Laurie of Gettysburg, Ted Stover and wife Jen of Hobe Sound, FL, Michelle Coker and husband Eric of Centre Hall, Jonathan Homan of Wilkes-Barre, Christa Kreps and husband Justin of Spring Mills, and Natacha Bressler of Altamonte Springs, FL and Carline Bressler, of Winter Springs, FL. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Molly and Claire Stover, Marcus and Caroline Coker, and Hailey Kreps.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Pam Cox and Cherry Lou Cable, and one brother, Dick Cable.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Faith Alive Fellowship on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Korn officiating.  Burial will be private.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Alive Fellowship, 4394 Penns Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
