Jerry Joseph Glover, 80, of Walkersville, Maryland, formerly of Claysville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, Maryland. Born on October 23, 1943, in Olean, New York, he was the son of the late Gerald and Florence Virginia (Robey) Glover. In 1966, he married his beloved wife, Barbara Ann (DeLallo) Glover, who survives at home after sharing 58 years of marriage together. 

Jerry graduated with his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He worked for The Boeing Company in Huntsville, Alabama and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a leader for flight simulation. During his career, he was also recognized for his work as part of the Apollo Team; his name was entered into the Apollo/Saturn Roll of Honor. 

In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by a son, Joel Glover (Ruthanne) of Mount Airy, Maryland, and two grandsons, Brian Glover of Baltimore, Maryland, and Eric Glover of Mount Airy, Maryland. Also surviving is a sister, Emily Elder (Everett) of Matthews, North Carolina. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Lynn Glover. 

Jerry had a love of learning and was an avid reader of history. As a proud and dedicated father and community member, he was a volunteer fire fighter in Alabama and later served as a Cub Scout leader for his son. 

Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
