John H. Long, Sr., 71, of Winburne, passed away at Clearfield Hospital on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. John was born in Bellefonte on January 11, 1950, the son of the late Ernest and Lucy Snook Long. John is survived by his life partner of 42 years, Lisa Dann. Also surviving are John’s children; Lucy Goodwin of Ozark, AL, Linda (Ronnie) Gordon of Midland City, AL, Hazel (Walter) Dunklebarger of Midland City, AL, Tammy Long of Morrisdale, John (Laura) Long of State College, William Long of Winburne, Ashley Butler (Pat Harpster) of Bellefonte, John Henry (Chelsea) Long of Williamsburg, Derick (Jessica) Long of Philipsburg, Eric Steffan of Pine Glen; his 40 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 half brothers. John was a retired baker and prep cook. John loved tinkering with various things. He enjoyed cooking, collecting junk and delivering it to the junk yards, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A graveside service will be held at the Advent Cemetery on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to
