Joyce E. Baranak, 48, of Clarence, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2020 at her home. Born on September 22, 1971, in Columbia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert T. Retorick and Zoe E. (Hursh) Retorick. On August 25, 1994, in Winchester, VA, she married Timothy L. Baranak, who survives at home.
Joyce was a 1990 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She was a Para Educator at the Wingate Elementary School for over 15 years. She was of the Protestant faith.
Joyce enjoyed Jazzercise, crafts, hiking, going for walks, working in her flower gardens, and watching the humming birds. She loved being a mom and was the best mom ever. She was always helping others, especially those closest to her. She liked sharing her ice cream with her kittens.
Joyce is survived by her husband, son: Brandon T. Baranak of Clarence and two sisters: Jennie A Retorick of Clarence and Barbara Kachik and her companion, Dave, of Moshannon. We can not forget to mention her two kittens, which she loved, Weezy and Prince.
Following Joyce’s wishes, all services will be private. She will be laid to rest at Askey Cemetery.
