Judy R. Spangler

Judy R. Spangler, 75, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Howard on September 8, 1945 a daughter of the late Richard Allison and Charlotte Woomer Allison of Howard.

She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School. On June 27, 1964 she was united in marriage to John J. Spangler, he survives at their home in Bellefonte. Judy worked in the purchasing department at Penn State and retired after 25 years of service.

She was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Aide. She was also a member of the Ladies Aide at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. Judy was a lifelong attendee of Grange Fair and always enjoyed her time there. She loved her family, horses, and camping. She adored her Sheltie ” Cooper ” and vacations to Disney World.

Along with her husband she is survived by a son, Josef ( Karen ) Spangler of Pleasant Gap, a daughter, Jacque ( David ) Spangler of Myrtle Beach, S.C., a brother, Steve Allison of Howard, a granddaughter, Kachina Spangler, and a grandson, Jesse Spangler.

Private burial will be at Schencks Cemetery, Howard, at the families convenience.
