Lillian Patricia Poblete

Lillian Patricia Poblete, 78, Bellefonte native and Lewistown resident, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Ohesson Manor in Lewistown, after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Born on May 9, 1942 in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Earl Lucas and Goldie Mae (Hampton) Harpster. She married her beloved husband, Ranulfo T. Poblete, Sr., who survives her at home after sharing 45 years of marriage together. 

After nearly two decades of nursing patients in Delaware County, PA, the family moved back to Bellefonte, and Lillian continued her nursing career at Centre Crest. After retiring, she embarked on a new career when retail giant, Walmart, came to State College. She worked for Walmart for over 10 years. 

In addition to her devoted husband, Ranulfo, she is survived by her loving children, Ron Poblete, Jr., Kelly Kaminski, Michael Poblete, Christina Poblete, Sharon Miller, Gerald Soltow, Jr., and Goldie Dunn; eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her sister, Katherine Wojcieshowski.

Along with her parents, she was sadly preceded in death by one son, Edward Soltow. 

Lillian was adventurous and enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, music, and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She leaves behind many friends and family members across the country. Her beautiful, smiling face, and warm heart will forever be missed. 

There will be a public graveside service held on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 10am, at Eagle Cemetery in Milesburg, with Father George Jakopac officiating. Following CDC recommendations, social distancing is encouraged, and face coverings will be required at all services. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
