Linda Faye Tressler, 72, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Born March 28, 1952, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Loretta (Kuhn) Stimer. On March 4, 1972, she married her beloved husband, Jessy Tressler, who survives at home after sharing over 52 years of marriage together.
Linda worked in the janitorial department at Penn State for 25 years until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, Jessy, she is survived by their three children, Carolyn Lykens (David) of Port Matilda, Loretta Ganoe (Dave) of Bellefonte, and Jessy Tressler (Kaitlyn) of Bellefonte; 12 grandchildren: Vinnie Mazzotta, Gio Mazzotta (Brianna), Chris Ganoe, Dylan Kibe, Devin Kibe, Dustin Kibe, Darren Kibe, Deann Kibe, Logan Tressler, Izabel Tressler, Jackson Tressler, and Mya Etchison, and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are her two brothers and three sisters.
Linda lived to make others happy; she was always putting everyone before herself. She enjoyed going shopping and watching National Geographic. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are the ones who brought her the most joy in life.
Funeral and burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
