Linda L. Kopp, 78, a resident of Boalsburg died on Saturday July 19, 2025 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, PA. Born September 24, 1946 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Reverend Harter & Margaret Taylor. On October 16, 1965 in Cherry Tree, PA she married Theodore Kopp who preceded her in death in 1983.
Linda is survived by two children, Heather Zalno and her husband Michael of State College, and Shawn W. Kopp and his wife Sara of Boalsburg. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Natee Zalno and Isabella Kopp.
Linda graduated from Harmony Joint High School and went on to take classes at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Linda left her studies to be with her husband while he was stationed with the Air Force in Rantoul, Illinois. The couple later moved to Boalsburg.
Linda was employed at the Penn State Book Store in Human Resources and was a member of the Mount Nittany United Methodist Church in Lemont.
Linda devoted her life to taking care of her family. Theodore passed away when the children were very young. Linda worked to provide financial stability. She spent her free time at home making sure the kids knew they were loved and secure. She provided a model of faith through regular church attendance, prayer, and daily devotions. Any extra time was devoted to caring for her aging relatives.
Although Linda did not have time for serious hobbies, she did have a strong appreciation for dogs. The family was never without a beloved pet and Linda took comfort in having them close by her side.
