Margaret P. Kellogg, 95, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Eagle Valley Personal Care Home in Milesburg. Born on December 29, 1925, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Taylor) Rossman. In 1944, she married her beloved husband, Carl M. Kellogg, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1965, after sharing over 21 years of marriage together.
Margaret was a graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked for Penn State until her retirement.
She is survived by her two children, Susan Kersavage of Bellefonte, and Michael Kellogg of State College, three grandchildren, Scott Kersavage of California, Brian Kersavage of Marysville, PA, and Jeffrey Kellogg of Bellefonte, and four great grandchildren, Reese Kersavage, Matthew Kersavage, Madison Kellogg, and Makenzie Kellogg. Also surviving is one brother, Edward Rossman (Lucy) of York.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Kellogg, a sister, Molly Osman, and a brother, Robert Rossman.
Margaret enjoyed bowling with her husband, attending many tournaments around the state over the years. She also enjoyed working and gardening around her home. She was an avid animal lover, and especially loved when her kids and grandchildren would bring their dogs, Kelly, Chloe, Cayla, and Scarlet, to visit.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
